The wineVintage score is an independent editorial estimate designed to make regional vintage quality easier to compare. It is not a reproduction of an official score from any individual critic or publication.

Vintage classifications

Drinking windows

Drinking windows are broad regional estimates based on wine style and vintage. Individual wines may mature earlier or later depending on producer, vineyard, cuvée, storage, provenance, and bottle condition.

Important limitations

Vintage ratings summarize broad regional tendencies. Wines from individual producers can differ significantly within the same vintage. wineVintage does not replace professional wine appraisal, investment advice, or an inspection of an individual bottle.
